BA's Move At IAD

Sat May 09, 2009 11:52 pm

The other evening, following a flight home from ATL to IAD, I was walking the deserted B concourse when I noticed a sign for an elevator to the "British Airways Gallaries Lounge." Sure enough, I llok up and see through the glass a smart-looking lounge, abutting the AA Admiral's Club. A bit futher toward the middle of concourse B, I noticed a BA gate.

So, BA has moved from it's spot in the west end of the dumpy United concourse C. Good move for BA. Anyone been in the new lounge yet?

You mean by then they will move to the newly constructed concourse C at the base of the new control tower?

Isn't that the D2 plan??

Yes. I'm not sure of the exact timeline since I have moved out west about two years ago but that was the timeline back then.
