In my weekly review of UA's E-Fares, I happened to come upon UA976 (the 6p departure from ORD to IAD) listed as a 744 for this Friday and Saturday. I assume this is some sort of repositioning flight? Wondering if anyone can confirm that it is indeed scheduled to be a 744. If so, I'm thinking about making a run as this may be one of my only chances (as a pretty much domestic flier) to get on a 747.

They are positioning flights for the 24OCT/25OCT schedule changes. IAD-NRT is going from a 777 to a 744.
