Certainly the best view out is from the trusty and beautiful L-1011.

That thing looks like a mad hornet that got up on the wrong side of the bed! But I think if you want mean looking, the C-17 takes the cake.

Here is a link to a great album showing a lot of nice cockpit windows.

Unfortunately, my personal favourites are not covered too well, namely these:

Kind of similar, or am I the only one feeling that way?

The Il-62shown earlier in reply#1 looks like it evolved from this one:

and the C-17 looks somehow related to the DC-10...

The Canadair CL-44 was based on the Bristol Britannia but for some reason the FAA wouldn't certify it with the original Britannia cockpit windows. So Canadair, which was then owned by General Dynamics which also owned Convair, adapted the Convair 880/990 cockpit windows to fit the CL-44. The version of the CL-44 built for the Canadian Air Force (which didn't require FAA certification) retained the original Britannia cockpit windows..

The modified Convair 880/990 windows and the original Britannia windows on the civil and military CL-44 models below.

Definitely the DC-10/MD-11 (and by extension, the C-17, which has the same cockpit windows in a meaner package)!

I agree 100%. I don't know why all wide bodies didn't have curved windows like the TriStar, makes for much a smoother translation to the fuselage.

PS. I'd also like to add the McDonnel 220, Lockheed Jetstar and the Dassault Falcon to the list.....

I have to say quite a few

DC9/MD80/90

L1011

727

747, the triangular window on the side, just really does something for me.

Also, the 757 looks pretty tee'd off when you get a good head on look at it

But I have to say, I like the windows the most of any aircraft I'm aboard!!

Boeing 767. What can I say, it just looks cute and adorable from front on   I remember overhearing someone commenting on how the 767 looks like a dolphin from that angle ... and I guess to an extent, it does!
