It's evidence that booking smart saves a lot of money. Average fares are between €500-€600 r/t. Flights are operated by AF and JJ out of CDG, with TGV train ride (included) from BRU to CDG.

Yes, it is a deal out of this world. I've found 278 euros and multiple other offers under 500.

You have to be careful though; some offers include an airport change in Sao Paolo, others have 20hrs. layovers. So just be a little flexible and you find a seamless connection for €252.

Even 500-600 eur is a steal is good if inclusive of taxes and the dreaded YQ surcharge. Chicago to brazil is usually well over 1000 USD and is a shorter flight. Might be a testament to the over capacity.

I would exercise EXTREME caution with this type of 'offer'. Direct bank transfer payments are rarely what they seem and oiffer absolutely no consumer protection at all. Is the company IATA bonded? Seems strange they can offer a ticket for under 300 euros when the equivalent ticket on other sites is almost 700 euros. Too good to be true? I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

What was being commented on Flyertalk was that it was ZYR(train)-CDG(AF)-GIG(TAM)-GRU(KLM)-AMS(train)-ZYR.
ZYR in that case would be Bruxelles-Midi. I don't know if that is the same offer.

You can go through with the booking, check back with the airline if the booking's been made in your name, if there should be difficulties, you can call your credit card company and cancel the transaction.
I can't vouch for the website in general, but have heard it's legit. I just booked 8 seats on one credit card (€8 credit card charge), and I can already access my reservation on the Airfrance.com website.

They also have Rome - Tokyo - London for 257 euros with Aeroflot.
Add in another 60-70 euros for a one way flight to Rome, means the return flight from London - Tokyo would be about 320-330 Euros....bargain!

I have managed to get my reservation ticketed via pelikan.cz already. They are a regular IATA ticket agency, booked with them many times before. You can also double check back your reservation via viewtrip.com
As mentioned by others this deal has been up since Dec. 19 and is bookable until today only.

Not all dates have the layovers and not all dates require an airport change.
However, KLM is currently offering xxx-AMS-GIG return for €458. If you're not from the vicinity of BRU or CDG, and you don't want to look very far for the best offer, then that is probably a much more attractive offer for you.

You're right. Too bad I panicked and bought the tickets already in December because now I'd get for the same money a much smoother itinerary without the long layover at Sao Paulo and need to transfer from VCP to GRU. Oh, well....

Well, it's not half bad. Sao Paolo is good for a day and you can take a shower at GRU. There's also not a lot to see for tourists in Sao Paolo, and even the registered taxis are cheap. You can get a personal tour through the city, stop at a restaurant (I can recommend a few to you if you're doing this), then go to GRU, buy access to the lounge, take a shower, continue your travel
