I've read trip reports and looked at SAS's website. SAS is trying to be both a full service airline and Low Cost Carrier at the
same time.
Their web says that they serve a hot meal, but doesn't say a choice of two meals. Additionally, drinks are free during the meal service, but if you want a coke or orange juice during the flight otherwise, you have to pay for it. They also say that they serve a snack or breakfast before landing but snacks during the flight will also cost you. Check out the trip
reports on this forum as well as reading reports from Skytrax to get a flavor. Tea and coffee is always free, according to their web.
BTW. They do accept cash (surprise, as most US carriers don't anymore) and credit cards, but not debit cards.
You should check out the air and space museum in Washington, DC if you get the chance. Bon Voyage.
