Where Are You Flying To For Christmas

Sat Dec 20, 2014 9:40 pm

It's not too exciting but I'm flying to Houston on United. So, where are you going and are you flying somewhere for New Years?

Nowhere.

I wish I was flying somewhere for New Years to see fireworks in an exotic city, but I'll save that for when I find my significant other.

I'm flying JFK-BQN on a JetBlue a320 for a post-Christmas getaway, but nowhere for Christmas itself.

Very much looking forward to my travel plans for the winter:

Arrived at my parents' home in Sedona, Arizona (via FLG) last week for the Christmas holiday.
I will fly PRC-LAX on a ZK Beech 1900 on the 26th and do a DC-3 pleasure flight from Riverside Airport (RAL) the next day. Planning to fly VX LAX-LAS after attending the Rose Parade on New Years and then BLD-GCN on Grand Canyon Airlines. Back to my parents' house for a few days before finally flying PHX-LAX-PVG on UA to begin my internship in Shanghai.

Happy holidays to all!

Flying (AY A343) back home from Krabi, Thailand on 25th Dec, the one way flight was ridiculously cheap.

As an early Christmas present, I got a trip to London. Being an A-nutter, I had to try at least one new airplane and at least one new airline. Never having been on the 787, I got to fly on the 787-800 from two different airlines and quite possibly my last ride on a 737-400.
DCA-YYZ-LHR and LHR-WAW-ORD-DCA. Merry Christmas to all.

A few hours ago I flew CDG-OSL on an AF E190. On the 26th TRF-AMS-CDG (KLM E190/B739), then flying across to JFK with Openskies on the 27th, and back to ORY on the 5th (757-200 both legs).

On the 20th I flew CBR-BNE on a QF Q400.

Until yesterday I was supposed to fly BNE-SYD on a JQ A320 on the 30th, but I now have a meeting on the 30th so flying back to CBR on the 29th on a QF 737. From there I'll make my way to Sydney over-land in time for New Years, and then back to CBR on another QF Q400 on Jan 4.
