Most Times You've Flown On The Same Plane As A Pax

As the topic suggests, what is the most times you've flown on the same aircraft as a passenger? I was a little surprised to see my log (newly inputted to FlightMemory) and found that I've flown on United's N73860 757-300 and N38446 737-900ER three times each! Below is the chart of the planes I've flown on twice or more times.

Most for me would be Dash 8-300 G-WOWB when it was with Air Southwest. Flew it at least 29 times.

Hahaha, there are 3 aircraft I've flown very frequently, all B757-208s of FI:

42x - TF-FIO
38x - TF-FIN
35x - TF-FIP

I've also flown -308 TF-FIX 16 times.

Some other FI aircraft, such as TF-FIA, -FIJ and -FIY I've flown around 10 times but nowhere close to the ones mentioned above.

If we count the number of take offs for a particular aircraft, I have flown on former BOAC 747-136 G-AWNI 6x. From LHR-NBO-JNB & JNB-NBO-FCO-LHR. I flew on this particular aircraft again 12 years later as N17125 with TWA from LAX-LHR.

The 3x I was on N73860 (757-300), I was in 7A all three times. It was kinda cool! During that period of my commute, UA sent 753 on the last red eye LAX-EWR consistently for a few months and some of the same FA's too! It was really weird boarding the plane and hearing the FA say "hi Mr. foppishbum, welcome back." That got some heads turned. Lol.

That is quite a record! It sounds like you fly to commute quite (very, very, very) frequently.

F-GTAU twice. An AF A321. BCN-CDG and then three days later TXL-CDG (showed up as a surprise replacement for the A318 that was scheduled).

Otherwise, I have never repeated an airframe since I've started keeping track of reg numbers. When you live in the US and have airlines like DL with several hundred airframes, it's unlikely you'll ever repeat one unless you fly an awful lot.

I don't fly very often at all but I do seem to have a knack for getting the same aircraft more than once, sometimes months or years apart:

On the other hand, when you've been specifically choosing MEL-SYD-BNE flights operated by the 763s... perhaps doubling- or tripling-up is not so surprising.

RG - PP-VNW B742 - Used to love these flights! Back in the day, Varig was really a nice airline. And as a kid I was adored by the pretty stewardesses. Used to love their all white J class (Yes, back in the day their MD11 and a few 747s had all white really cushy seats in J), and even more colorfull (Yellow, Green, Red flower prints) Y class seats.

Flew Aero Virgin Islands many times, they only had three or four DC-3s so I assume I flew each of them more than twice.

Flew an upstart airline in the early 80's by the name of Best Airlines. They had two DC-9s, flew one of them three times.

Interestingly, I flew to SJO on N602DL to be surprised a week later when she parked at the gate to take me back to ATL.
