Airport Sandwiches, The Best?
I had THE BEST veggie sub at "Jersey Mike's" at EWR. Anyone else experience "The Best Food" at an airport?

My Philly Cheese steak was pretty good at "Phiily Steak & Gyri co" at PHL the other day!

Don't know if you'd count it as a sandwich per se, but I enjoy Currito Burritos a little bit. It's kind of like Chipotle. It's a healthier option on the road depending on what you get...which is always nice

Any of the Cafe Versailles locations onsite at MIA have the best Cuban sandwiches and coffee.

Pret sandwiches at LHR. I don't remember exactly what they have, just that my family fell in love with the place when we visited in 2010.

Tortas Frontera at ORD Terminal 3. There's usually a long lineup, but it's worth it!

Whenever I fly CA and connect at PEK I try to get to the Pizza Hut inside the terminal there. They have some interesting non-pizza dishes (such as meatballs & rice with all kinds of good sauces & cheese) and drinks there and there are not many other places there that I would consider anyway

Agree. Also had a good sandwich at the Berghoff Cafe in T1. Also worth mentioning is the Earl of Sandwich at DTW.

Important subject this. I eat alot of sandwiches.
Best ever without any doubt. Saigon airport and a brilliant banh mi sandwich made by an old lady. Brilliant and yet it wasn't half as good as regular banh mi sandwiches in Hanoi and Saigon.
The Vietnamese banh mi is the best sandwich, nothing comes close to it. The french connection, its bread, the baguette properly made with some french flavours and then they have added Vietnamese ingredients and flavours to create an absolutely amazing fusion that is the Diego Maradona of sandwiches...
In my humble opinion Vietnamese banh mi is by far the worlds best sandwiches.
Pret a manger I presume. A UK sandwich chain.
Started in London in the mid 1980ies or similar, today found in Paris, Shanghai and New York.

Prêt à Manger at London-Stansted airport is where I spent my last GBP before heading back to the Eurozone. Well worth it.

Marks and Spencers Simply mini supermarkets at LHR and LGW. Good quality,good prices and lots of choice. Everything from sandwiches to sushi and desserts. Always nice to pay downtown prices at airports and not be ripped off.

Root Down at DEN Concourse C is by far the best sandwich I have had; little pricey though

I always make it a point to stop at Potbelly Sandwiches when I go through IAD.
