Nope. I'm talking aerial approach shots and Citations that I mentioned. The operators often pop the rego just above the horizontal stabilizer which tends to cut the registration partially/completely unless I take more nose on or ass end shots. (which aesthetically I dislike)

Favorite:
747 in all variants, from -100 to -8
707 - the true classic
757 - so powerful, most conferrable narrow jet
767 - can't beat the 2-3-2 configuration
A300/A330 - the 2-4-2 is also a winner, two nice twin jets
A380 - like flying in a building
Embraer 170 and up - 2-2 configuration is great
MD-11 - no need to say more

least favorite:
737 - so boring, how many 738s can one have in his log book?
A319/A320 - same thing
777 - very loud, and the 10 abreast is getting more and more popular
CRJ200 - couldn't more my legs at all, so crowded!
A340 - good configuration, but terribly slow
787 - behind this high tech jet there is no more than another too crowded YCL class

Huh? The A340 cruises at the same speed as the A330 (which is listed under your favorites)

Sadly it seems that most Boeing aircraft now are crampliners:

B737 (seats typically narrower than the A32X)
B777 (3-4-3 seating)
B787 (3-3-3 seating)

Exception being the 767 which has a great config and wider seats. The A32X/A330/A340/A350/A380 all have wider seats and quieter cabins than their Boeing counterparts.

There are already 3-3-3 A330s flying around, not many, but they exist. It's only a matter of time until an 11 abreast A380 turns up, probably with EK. And not long after, we will see the A350 follow the 777 path and end up in a 10 abreast config...

Don´t think I have a least favourite...I just love flying...so far I have loved the A333 with RR engines...the 744 was boring to me after so much of a build up because I was right down the back...loved the MD 83...loved the S340 & Dash 8 over the ATR....737-800 holds a special place because it´s ingrained in me after working on it for a few years.

As I have this weird disorder called a love of flying, it's very hard for me to pick a worst aircraft, however I can say that way back in the 1970's I was unfortunate enough to sit in a DC-10 operated by THY Turkish Airlines, which was by far the worst flying experience of my life, and to this date some 40 years later I still tend to avoid them, people tell me they are pretty good now though.
My all time best would have to be the only flight I had on a VC-10, possibly the most awesome take-off I have ever experienced in my life.
Others I love are the Sukhoi SSJ, ERJ-135, CR-7, Caravelle B722, and MD-80. And I just discovered I don't really like big planes.

My favorite is a cross between the 744 and the 787

My least favorite is probably the 737 just because it's so banal. Although the back rows of a 753 are a special level of hell in and of themselves.

Favourite: A310, the forgotten Airbus. I love how they went to the expense of giving it that small super efficient wing. I wish I had gotten to go on one, especially that first Lufthansa/Swiss one.
Least Favourite: A321. Great plane just boring looks. Too bad it doesn't have 4 wheel bogies.

Favourite- boeing 747. Such a beautiful and sexy aircraft. Is and always will be the queen of the skies in my eyes! I also really like the a380!

Least favourite- boeing 777. Boring aircraft, oversized engines and noisy. Nothing "Wow" about it. Don't trust a passenger airliner with folding wings.

Of those I have actually flown in:
Favourite: current A380; from past B727-100, pocket rocket with those triple slotted Kruger flaps!
Least Favourite: current B777; from the past DC4, grinding out over the Pacific for hours with that noise level!

My favourite would have to be the Boeing 787 Dreamliner followed by the Boeing 777 and then MD-80 family.

I don't dislike these aircraft but I am tired of flying on them: Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 (too common)

Dislike: ATR 42 and 72, Boeing 737-300 and -400

My favorite bounces back and forth between 757 and 767.

Close second would be tied between the A320 and 777

Least favorite is 737-900/ER/9
I already don't like the 737 much other than the 737-200, but the -900 is that much worse in my opinion. It is a pig, it's ugly, and replaces my favorite plane. It just feels wrong that Boeing replaces their great airframe with outdated engines with a less advanced and less capable airframe that just happens to use less fuel. They now panic as their 737 stretch is barely selling. I am sick and tired of the idea that the 737 will solve all problems for Boeing. I am tried of some of its dinosaur-age technology such as half f the flight deck. I try to avoid flying on 737s, especially the -900, as much as I can and have been mostly successful up to this point, but it will become much harder when AC gets theirs.

If we were talk talk props only, then it would have to be ATR.

I also don't like the 787 that much because of its ugly nose, it's noisy hydraulic pump that sound like they were built by Satan himself, and just how much overhyped it is. It's certainly not my least favorite though.

Favorite overall: DC-10/MD-11. Simply stunning from an aesthetic standpoint and so much power
Favorite to be a passenger on: EMB 170/190. Can't beat the 2-2 configuration. Most comfortable aircraft to fly in Y.

Least favorite: 737. Besides the 737-100 and 200, there is literally nothing interesting about it. Hate the 3-3 config as well. I know I probably have the unpopular opinion here, but I would rather fly on regional jets than 737s or a320s solely to avoid the 3-3 config. Middle seats are the worst!

That was in 2001, so yes, it was quite a while ago. I agree that looks don't make a bad flight, but it was a combination of the two that led to my dislike of the A343. I felt that the cabin looked dated when compared with the Boeing Signature Interior; those tiny windows on the A330/A340 combined with the sloping sidewall felt a little claustrophobic. I preferred the near vertical sidewall, larger windows and the curved lines of the Boeing Signature Interior in the 777, as well as the high ceilings and the 9-across configuration. It felt positively palatial compared with the A343.

Ok, I have decided on my favorite plane. I love the 757. I love how it performs. I love how it sounds with the PW2000 (not a very big fan of the RB211-535). I love how it looks. However, I don't like its cross section that gives it narrow seats. I also don't like the very noisy a/c packs. Of course I have never been on a very nice 757 like the 75H/D at DL. The nicest one I was on was a DL 757-200 with the 737NG style interior with PTVs years ago. I only got on those twice I think and the rest of my 757 experiences have been on the old original interiors on DL and sUA/PMUA.

Now the 767 on the other hand shares much of what I like about the 757. It performs almost as good. I like the sounds of all the engines with PW4000 being my favorite, RB211-524 second, and CF6, the one I have experienced most recently, in third. It looks very similar, but bigger and fatter. It does the same weird things with hydraulic pumps and such during electrical load shedding like the 757 does. Much of the workings of the plane are the same or similar. What I asleep like are things like the blended winglets on the -300 which are huge and majestic. The raked tips on the -400 are nice too. I like some of its unique features like the MLG popup door, the air driven hydraulic pump that never sounds the same twice unlike the 777's, the oversized vertical stab on the back, the screeching sound the MLG doors in operation, and the 2-3-2 configuration. I honestly can't find anything I don't like about the plane other than the old useless overhead bins that most of them have.

It might be recency bias as I have not been on a 757 for a while no, but I think the 767 is my favorite. It may change again one day.

Favourite/Favorite (however you'd prefer to see it spelled, or spelt, for that matter): MD-11. Without a doubt, the best plane I ever had the privilege of flying on. AMS-YUL and return with KLM. Such a beautiful aircraft to look at - she was turning the heads of a great many people at both airports. I've never seen so many ordinary (that is to say, non-AVGeek) passengers pull out their phones to take a picture of an aircraft. But who can blame them? What a stunning aircraft, and even better in KLM blue. And to fly on, the MD-11 was a delight - the power on takeoff, the incredible climb rate and that characteristic "nose-up" attitude during cruise made for two amazing flights.

An honorary mention must also go to the Fokker 70 here - that's a quirky and fun little aircraft.

Anything else built by McDonnell Douglas is up there too, along with the L-1011, Boeing 747 and 757, but the MD-11 takes the top spot.

At the other end of the scale sits the A320-Family. It's just nothing to get excited about - bland to look at, and not particularly fun to fly on. It does the job, but not with any kind of flair. For the same reason, I'm not excited about the Boeing 787. In fact, while there are more exciting aircraft to fly, I make a conscious effort to avoid both the A320 and 787. My last A320 flight was 2013, out of necessity, while I have yet to fly on a 787.

Far from the case IMHO. I went on an ERJ-145 once and decided to never again fly on one. I don't like flying on CRJs that much, but they are far better than the ERJ.

Obviously everyone has their own personal preferences. I personally like being able to get a window and aisle seat all in one on the ERJ, as well as the bigger, better placed windows. On the other hand I really can't think of anything I like about the CRJ.

My favorites have to be the 747, the MD11/DC10 and the Avro.
Actually I would not really dare to label any airliner as my least favorite. If I had to choose something it would probably be the CRJ but I even enjoy those if the flight is not too long.

Favorites to look at have to be the 747 (especially the -8i) and the A340 (especially the -500 and -600)

Least favorites to look at would have to be the A320 (so boring) and the a350 (I really dislike the racoon mask, the nose seems odd to me and the winglets look out of place)

Now to ride on, I heard all the horror stories about the CRJ-200 and I was dreading my 2:30 CRJ flight from DCA-RSW but it wasn't bad. My least favorite ride is the Dash-8 which is to noisy and the vibrations got on my nerves.

Favorite ride would have to be the E Jets.
