Family To Fly On El Al- Goodies From The Flight?

Mon Sep 28, 2015 5:16 pm

I have family flying JFK-Ben Gurion on El Al in a few weeks.

Im an avgeek/.

Was wondering what kind of collectible goodies, if any, would be present on the flight? El Al branded stuff I mean.

Wondering if the have any avgeek gifts available in flight.

I seem to remember them having more branded stuff then they show online. Things like models/playing cards etc.. They seem to only show an airport set for kids.

Not sure if they still do these things or maybe they just dont show on the Duty Free/Gifts page.

The under-seat life jacket is cool. I always try and snag one if they are there.

Safety cards.

When my wife and 3 year old daughter flew on Korean Air from NRT-ICN-IAD last year, the crew gave my daughter a Korean Air 747 plush toy. She loves it and plays with it every day. Funny is that when they flew from NRT-IAD on United 2 weeks ago, my daughter didn't get a damn thing from the crew. I hope the eye doc will give my daughter something cool on her next eye checkup.

You can take with no problem the inflight magazine, safety card, duty free magazine and the name-branded sick bag. If you do not want to take the safety card from the seat, ask one from the flight crew, they will happily hand you new one.

This has to be sarcasm. Right?

I really hope you're not serious. You do know they're there to comply with aviation regulations and are there in case of emergency. Plus you're making more work for the poor FA or ground staff that has to go and check and make sure they're all there.
