Inspired by the ""What's The Most "exotic" Airline You've Flown On?"" thread, this thread asks: What's The Most "exotic" Airport You've Flown To?
It's LUA / Tenzing-Hillary Airport, also known as Lukla Airport, in Nepal for me.

BRW & SCC would be it for me.
|Quoting Flanders (Reply 7):|
Since the runway is only 992 meters long, take off was quite spectacular. The airplane would backtrack the runway and apply full throttle for some seconds before releasing the brakes. Not your daily kind of take-off but on the other hand this is probably "peanuts" for the mighty Dash 7, being a STOL airplane.

In my case, it was RBQ, Rurrenabaque, in Beni/Bolivia. It was the days of the grass runway (13/31), before the new runway (18/36) was built. Because of rain, our flight was delayed three days. It was on TAMBo, on its MA60s, in 2009.
