I am wishing for BDR-PVG nonstop on MU.

/yeah, yeah, totally unrealistic...but it would be so convenient!

Quoting thekorean (Reply 79):

SA)">UA ORD-ICN, EWR-ICN, IAH-ICN, IAD-ICN, EWR-JNB
SA)">AA LAX-ICN, JFK-ICN, MIA-ICN
SA)">DL ATL-ICN
AC YYC-ICN, YUL-ICN
QF SYD-ICN
NZ AKL-ICN
VX EWR-ORD
SA JNB-ICN, CPT-EWR
KE ICN-JNB, ICN-NBO, ICN-ATH

Good list. Out of those, I think SA)">UA ORD-ICN, EWR-ICN; AA LAX-ICN; QF SYD-ICN; NZ AKL-ICN; KE ICN-NBO, ICN-ATH will happen within the next 5 years.

My wishlist

SQ SIN-ICN-YYZ, SIN-PUS (yes, there are charters...), SIN-AMS-ORD (resumption)
CX HKG-PUS
HA KOA-ICN, HNL-YYZ
KE ICN-SUB, ICN-BOS, ICN-EWR, ICN-DEN, ICN-SJC, ICN-SAN, ICN-YYC, ICN-TXL, ICN-DUS, ICN-BCN
OZ ICN-EWR, ICN-PHL, ICN-BRU (they used to fly SEL-BRU)
DL MSP-ICN
WY MCT-ICN
SK CPH-ICN, ARN-ICN, ARN-YYZ, OSL-YYZ
LX ZRH-ICN
OS VIE-ICN

Personally (though it will never happen), I'd like DTW-LED or DTW-MOW at least.

At least remotely realistic? DTW-KEF, United or AA DTW-LAX, DTW-CHO to return.

For SCQ   Vueling consolidating its presence there (currently up to 18 routes in summer): SVQ (served by Ryanair) and VLC becoming year-round (already served by Ryanair).

Also some new destination. Domestically SCQ-SPC (La Palma) which is the largest island in Spain with no connection to the region (while LPA, PMI or Tenerife have up to 4 carriers!). Internationally, some additional destination in the UK, for instance MAN (Ryanair flew EMA and LPL in the past).

Maybe BA (long shot) could add some frequencies in summer from LHR or LGW.

For Ryanair, BGY becoming year-round again (it used to be) and maybe some additional destination like PSA, BLQ or TSF. Italians are one of the largest sources of tourists in St. James' Way.

Swiss started seasonal flights to ZRH last summer and this summer is already expanding time and frequencies. Of course ZRH-SCQ year round would be great   And maybe some other Lufthansa destination, notably FRA even if with few frequencies. Or Eurowings to CGN or DUS seasonally.

TAP could link LIS with SCQ. Galicia and Portugal have historical and cultural links and TAP network to LATAM and the US could be interesting.

Aer Lingus is also adding more flights to its seasonal service so DUB-SCQ (now an IAG route) becoming year round would be very convenient, specially if timings are well set for US connections. So to brief:

- SCQ-SVQ with Vueling
- SCQ-SPC seasonal service with Vueling
- SCQ-VLC becoming year-round with Vueling
- SCQ-MAN seasonal service with Vueling (or other 2nd destination in the UK)

- SCQ-LGW year-round with Vueling or SCQ-LHR seasonal-service with BA

- SCQ-BGY becoming year-round with Ryanair
- SCQ-PSA with Ryanair (or other 2nd destination in Northern Italy)

- SCQ-ZRH becoming year-round with Swiss
- SCQ-FRA/MUC seasonal service with Lufthansa
- SCQ-CGN/DUS seasonal service with Eurowings

- SCQ-LIS year-round with TAP

- SCQ-DUB becoming year-round with Aer Lingus

IAH-CDG back with SA)">UA, there is a high point to point demand on that route, with higher yield than to MUC (but no transfer options at CDG for SA)">UA).

ABJ-IAD or JFK with SA, maybe soon.

BOG-CDG with AV, back in Paris.

Maybe LA LIM-CDG!

I d love to see SU back on SVO-LUX, as there is quite a lot of trafic between both cities, through CDG, AMS, FRA, MUC, ZRH and VIE.

Similarly, a re-instatement BRU-LUX by SN, as railway links from Luxembourg to BRU are increasingly bad, while Sabena used to fly this route until its collapse, with 4 daily flights.

AT Yugoslav Airlines">JU on BEG-LUX would also be a good idea, and bring more competition against LH/LX/OS, and could pave the way for EY on LUX-AUH (with 319)

BE on LUX-BHX or MAN, for better connectivity with the UK regions

LG on LUX-VCE all year-round, and also on LUX-HAJ (possibly with a short stopover at SCN), and competing with U2 on LUX-LGW.

LG competing with KL and LX abusive fares on LUX-AMS and LUX-ZRH

BA Cityflyer on LCY-LUX, as LG now has a monopoly of this route

SX on BRN-LUX-RTM

A5 launching triangular routes LUX/ETZ-MRS, LUX/ETZ-TLS, LUX/ETZ-BOD, for better links with major French regional airports.

ME on LUX-BEY

AT on LUX-CMN

AH on LUX-ALG

FR coming to ETZ, from OPO, LIS, FEZ, RAK, DUB, STN, ALC, PMI, AGP, GRO, MRS, BIQ

From the Northwest Arkansas wish list:

XNA-PHL (AA)
XNA-PHX (AA)
XNA-MIA (AA - Previously flown)

XNA-SLC (DL - Previously flown)

An LCC other than G4. I'm not greedy, I'll take WN, F9 or NK, just to offer some price relief.

As a realist, I know we already have good service for our market size, so I don't expect anything new in 2016, but that's why this is a wish list.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Sure would like to see F9 revive the DEN hub especially with DEN-ABQ. The old Frontier made some routes work with 737's back in the early 80's like DEN-FMN (Farmington, NM). For a city that once had FL, AP, UA*, CO*, AA*, HP*, US* plus a ton of YV flights, FMN now has only ZK which is virtually nothing. Sure would be nice to see FMN back on the map. They have short runways but I think an A319 or a UA* CR7 could do it.

With cheap oil and to fight EK one stop head on:

MCO-CDG: Would much prefer on DL metal this time over a super uncomfortable AF 10 abreast 773. AF planes were packed to the gill on this flight. It should be profitable with cheap oil.

MCO-PDX/SFO: On DL, of course

MCO-BOG/MDE/CLO: DL, please.

Ditto for me, fortunately XNA-SLC is well outside the 750 mile "limit" of the CR2 since the route was originally operated.

Dear Santa,

SEA has been very good this year. We would like to see MIA upgraded to 2 times daily on AA and CPH come back on SK. Also, we would like to see PDX on DL have all flights upgraded to 717's and HNL upgraded to 2 times daily on HA. If you want to go a little more local, I'd like SEA-PWT (Bremerton National Airport) on QX.

Yours truly,

2) PHL-HKG on CX
3) PHL-AMS and/or EWR-AMS on KL
4) As much as I love DL, seeing AF come back on PHL-CDG and/or EWR-CDG
5) For DL to go ahead and roll out a true W product on longhaul
6) ATL-CPT on DL

* BCN-ORD. It would have to be on AA, I guess.
* BCN-SFO/OAK. It may happen with DY.
* BCN-SCL on LA.
* BCN-SOU on Vueling. It doesn't need to be daily.

These four non-stop flights would make my life so much easier.

BOI-MSO, think the time of making this a go has passed. Would still like to see it, though.

For BNE apart from the already confirmed AC to YVR and MU to PVG. I'd like to see

BNE-SFO - The most logical way is a UA 788
BNE-DFW - This would have to wait until QF get their 789s so after 2016
BNE-WLG/CHC - QF/JQ to go year round breaking the NZ/VA monopoly

Domestic is pretty well covered. Only thing I think we could use is maybe an additional midweek BNE-ASP frequency on Qantasllink. Maybe a seasonal twice weekly BNE/OOL-AYQ on JQ during winter

It's already been said a few times, but KE BOS-ICN (and maybe a defection to OneWorld...), and for CX BOS-HKG to go daily

In general:
* more longhaul from ARN
* move as many BMA flights as possible to ARN

In specific:

2 weekly winter seasonal between ARN and YYZ with SK or AC.

AB TXL/DUS-PHL
KL AMS-PHL

Quoting 757usairways (Reply 43):

From MDT:

True, MDT needs some big time airline luvin´

Quoting EMB170 (Reply 137):
In no particular order:

1) PHL-NRT on JL
2) PHL-HKG on CX
3) PHL-AMS and/or EWR-AMS on KL
4) As much as I love DL, seeing AF come back on PHL-CDG and/or EWR-CDG

Yep, pretty much sums it up
