Good Idea, I'll give it a go myself, I'll even add airlines where possible!

Flown in,

Private:
R22 (not a plane, but it flies), PC-6

Boeing:
727 (DL), 732 (DL, EI, US), 733 (EI, CO, D7), 734 (EI, DL), 735 (EI), 736 (SK), 73G (SK), 738 (FR, AA), 741 (EI), 742 (BA), 744 (BA), 752 (CO), 762 (BY), 763 (AA, TW), 764 (CO)

Airbus:
A300 (TG), A310 (CZ), A320 (a billion and one airlines), A321 (EI, US), A332 (EI, AA), A333 (EI, GF), A343 (GF)

Other:
DC9 EA DL
MD80 DL, TW, JK
L1011 EA
Fokker 27 EI
Fokker 50 EI
Shorts 330 (anyone else been on both 330's?) EI
Shorts 360 (EI)
ATR (RE) cant remember if it was a 42 or 72 but I'm reasonably sure it was a 42

Been on but not flown
B17 Fantasy of Flight museum near Tampa, C17, 777, G-V all on static display at various Farnborough trade days

The airlines included are only off the top of my head so there may be some not listed (or possibly listed on the wrong type)

RE: Planes I Have Been On

I've certainly got some glaring omissions, and a bit of a lack of variety but:

Airbus:
A321-200 (LH,OS)
A330-300 (US)

Boeing:
737-800 (UA, AA)
747-400 (LH)
757-200 (FI, UA)
767-300 (BA)

Bombardier:
CRJ-200 (ZW)

Embraer:
E-175 (YX)

McDonnell-Douglas
MD-82 (AA)

I suppose there's still time to get a 717 and MD88 with DL.
777 should be easy, and 787 will come eventually I'm sure.
ERJ and other CRJ are likely at some point.
757-300 might be a little more difficult, same with 767-400.
A319 and A320 are very common so won't be hard to get.
A340s are slipping away so might need to try for one soon. A350's are coming.
747-8 and A380 should hang around a while so they are definitely possible.

Oooh mine's such a pathetic list in comparison... but I suppose it's a start!

BAe 146 (SSQ)
BAe Jetstream 41 (FQ)

A319-100 (BA, U2)
A320-200 (JQ)
A330-200 (QF)
A330-300 (SU)
A380-800 (QF)

B717-200 (QJE)
B737-400 (QF)
B737-700 (DJ)
B737-800 (QF)
B747-400ER (QF)
B767-300ER (QF)
B777-300ER (SU)

DHC-8-200 (EAQ)
DHC-8-300 (EAQ)
DHC-8-300Q (EAQ)
DHC-8-400Q (SSQ)

Actually when I consider that I've come this far with flights on only seven airlines (ten if you count QF subsidiaries and contractors), it's a pretty decent effort. And if I play the rareness-of-type card, the JS41 (100 examples) and B747-400ER (six examples, of which I've flown on two) both rank pretty highly...

Quite impressive lists you guys have! I've never been on a Concorde, nor a A350 or A380 or B787 (not yet), but I have flown several times on a Dassault Mercure!

Must be the only aviation fan who has flown 736 but not 73G. Incredible.

I know it's strange yes...did 737-600 on Lauda many years ago, when it was still new.
737-700 have always eluded me, probably because they're so rare in Southern Africa.
Also no 737-900 yet, which is totally non-existent in this part of the world.

A320 - VX, VY, US
A321 - QR
A330-300 - VS
A350-900 (I was on it, but I haven't flown it. It was MSN002)

Boeing:
B737-300 WN
B737-700 WN
B737-800 TO, KL
B747-400 (again, I was on it, but I haven't flown on it. This was 5Y)
