That very much depends on the job, the employer and the location. If you're not already employed by an airline/handling agent and seek employment as e.g. a check-in agent or gate supervisor, command of the local lingo would be an essential requirement. You might get by without if you're after a job on the ramp or in a warehouse. If you're seeking a senior position, having the required skills and experience, chances are English would be accepted in most locations. Spanish, French and German would be of limited use outside of the countries where it's the local language. Incidentally, those are also the places where English only might not get you very far.
