Most of the SATCOM atenna thee days are flush mounted.An example would be the BALL SATCOM on Trumps 757 which is slightly aft of the 1L and 2L doors, Hard to see, but its there. I think what our are looking at on the SWA 737's, is the "gate to gate" WIFI.
