U2431 28th December (STD 8:40pm) - Cruising at FL160??

Thu Dec 28, 2017 10:33 pm

Just noticed tonight that the EasyJet flight from Bristol to Edinburgh by A320 (OE-IVE) was cruising at FL160 - all the way. Anyone know what the problem was? I'm guessing it was a cabin pressure issue? Just curious.

Why does there have to be a problem?

I've sent flights out below the FLs.

Low cruising isn't that uncommon on shorter flights. Winds might be very unfavourable at higher altitude.
