Those familiar with Boston operations— how is 15L/33R used? It is only 2557 in length and isolated and crossing 22 R and L. What sort of movements happen out there?

Cape Air loves to use it, along with the smaller GA going to Signature.

Small turboprops use it, mostly Cape Air and Pen Air.

A SAAB 340 uses a 2600 ft. runway?

I wouldn't want to be in a Cessna 402 using a 2500 foot runway either, landing maybe, takeoff no way.

BOS 15L/33R is used for landings only when 15R/33L are being used. I’ve landed on it many times when I flew the BE-99 and the Dornier 228 for Precision.
