A321Neo Water Tank Capacity / Longest Flight Route

Thu Aug 02, 2018 6:24 am

Hi this is my first post here in this site. I need your opinion or news you may know.

Per Airbus all A32X family have one tank capacity (200L)

While new single aisle aircraft are now reaching long flight range, is there any news regarding upgrading of water tank capacity in A321Neo?

What route is the LONGEST route currently being use commercially in A321Neo aircraft? and what airline?

Don't know what your source was for the number, but it is highly suspect. Boeing offers optional capacity tanks to address this issue and while I don't have the variables right here in front of me, I seem to recall the 737 starting at 40USG and going up to 170+. I'll check it out later and get back to you. I suspect that AB, like Boeing, has optional capacities as well.

The longest flight I think was REK-LAX with WOW Air.

Typically Airbus offers a single tank with a customer option to add a second tank the same size. Normally located in the same area on the other side of the fuselage.

They fly that with the A330.

737NG uses a 62.1 gallon tank with a reduced maximum capacity via standpipe. The capacities that I know of are 40,50 and 60 gallon.
