Sure, it's twin-spool vs. three-spool engine design but I've never seen a PS-90 open if it's really just twin-spool.
The slightly older Progress D-18 engine is three-spool based on the RB211-524.
Engine design has never really been the sweet spot of soviet engineering and there are lots of adaptions of German and British designs.
So I expect it to perform similar, maybe better, probably a bit worse.
