Hello All, I've noticed over the last few years that all Airbus A320 models now have the ailerons act as ground spoilers after touchdown. When was this change implemented? Were there any mechanical changes that had to be made, or was it a simple software update?
I don't think the A320 needs mechanical updates to implement this function since the ailerons are already fly-by-wire. Must have been only software updates. I've heard they are updating the rudders now to be fly-by-wire as well.
