767 Fuel Burn Question
Will a 787-8 burn less fuel than a 767-200ER if both planes are in a private VIP configuration? Which plane will be cheaper to own? Does it matter if the 762 has winglets?

There will be a slight trip fuel burn advantage for the 762ER, this advantage may shrink on very long missions.
The total cost of ownership will be significantly lower on a 762, as they are much older. You just need to find one, many of them being gone already.
When it comes to winglets, the -200 was never certified for them in the civilian world. The military KC-46 is based on the 762 and does have winglets indeed (but 763F wings...).

767-200 ER cheap to acquire / Expensive Maintenance
787 - 800 Pricy to acquire / Cheaper Maintenance
