Cargo ops at Oakland

Fri Apr 12, 2019 6:01 am

Does anyone know why the FedEx Feeder props park over at the north ramp at Oakland (by one of the Signature terminals, just west of hangar 5) instead of at the big FedEx terminal with all the FedEx jets? How do they transfer cargo between those two spots? Truck it around the airport?

On a related note, does DHL still fly into Oakland? They seem to have an active cargo terminal for ground ops with a big loading bay on the apron, but no air traffic from what I can tell. Do they contract out their air ops at OAK to another operator?
