I was wondering if anybody knows any particular software that Airlines use for Dispatching and Flight Tracking their fleet? I know that some bigger airlines have custom build solutions but if anybody knows of any software (either desktop or web) that would be helpful.

Thanks!

Jeppesen JetPlan is one of several CFP solutions. It in turn can be customized for an individual operators needs. Its capable of world wide operations using various ETOPS applications to suit the operators. ARINC, Universal, along with various other flight planning organizations usually have access to this lind of data. Keep in mind that your particular aircraft will need to be loaded into their data base for the most effective results. JetPlan is a very robust program and is capable of producing over 100 formats to suit and operators individual requirements. Numerous airlines both foreign and domestic use this application. It is web based.

Flight Explorer, Flight View, and WSI Fusion are all used for tracking enroute. For planning and creation of a release, NavTech is a common solution.

Off the top of my head, flight planning/dispatch software (for creating the flight plan): Navblue (formerly NavTech), LIDO Flight, Jeppesen JetPlan, and Sabre Flight Plan Manager.

Delta used NAVTECH for many years but that was long ago.
