Reason for PF rake on RB211-535E4

Mon Jul 08, 2019 6:22 pm

Is there a reason for the design of the Pf rake of the EPR system on the RB211-535E4 powerplant.
PF rake is on Upper right & Lower left frame horizontally positioned
Upper Nose Bifurcation splitter and Lower Radial drive fairing Leading edge.

What justifies this particular locations.
I may not win often, but I damn well never lose!!! ;)
