Cost calculation / Rotation with an ACMI Aircraft

Hi everyone,

I was looking at those ACMI Rates here https://www.avibroker.com/leaseavailability.asp

Airbus A320 2010 ACMI TBA USD $ 2.500/BH + USD $ 50/Staff Member LOPA: 180Y - EU OPS
Airbus A320 TBA ACMI TBA USD $ 2.500/BH Diems included / LOPA: 180Y / EASA

I wanted to calculate the costing for an airline who is operating an aircraft under ACMI deal on a flight like LGW - BCN - LGW for instance

Indeed the airline overhead is not considered here.

Total rotation cost = (Flight rotation time block block x Block Hour Rate) + Airports fees + Handling fees + Pax Tax + Navigation fees

Is this calculation correct or am I missing some factors?

Many thanks for your feedbacks.

If it's a one-off the rate will be higher. Generally, an ACMI looks for long term contracts or at least monthly with a guarantee of XXX hours/day. If you are just looking for one flight then it would be a straight charter. You need to include catering in your calculation. You would also have to calculate the cost of positioning from XXX to LGW and return. Depending on how long the ACMI is for that becomes negotiable. But you sound as if you just want a single flight.

ACMI terms are minimum of one month, with base payment plus BH above base. Lease terms vary by creditworthiness. The lower the lessee's credit score, the shorter the term and the more severe the default penalties.
