I just flew on a KE 77W which has two camera views for pax - forward and down. Where are these cameras located on the aircraft? Can anyone provide photos that show the cameras? Thanks for the help.

Cameras are on the belly and the fin normally.

Terrible pic but here's the 777 "forward" cam. The 777 down camera probably just looks like a little porthole in the bottom of the fuselage. Image

Here's the fin cam on the A380.

That's the nose gear camera for the Ground Manoeuvre Camera System for the flightdeck only.

The cameras for the IFE are located forward of that, just behind the radome on the underside. Both the forward and downward cameras are located in this place.
The location is slightly left of the fuselage centreline, that's why the IFE image looks a little skewed when the aircraft is in a bank and turn.

The cameras can be seen here, behind the small dark panel, just aft of the radome.

I thought they were the same camera. Learned something new. On the A350 the same cameras are used for IFE and flight deck.

I believe that is an option. Our operator does not have it and just uses the belly cam for the IFE, same as what the pilots get for taxi.
The taxi camera system also includes 2 cams on the stabilizer, one on each side, which look forward over the wings. That feed is not given to the IFE though and, interestingly, the cams are self-leveling for when the stab moves up and down, which seems over-complicated compared to just having one fixed panoramic cam on the vertical stab a-la Airbus, but I think is pretty cool nonetheless.
