B787-8 / -9 performance out of GCM

Sat Jun 13, 2020 11:44 am

Dear All

Can somebody please tell me if there would be load penalties for BA operating a B787-8 or -9 GCM-LHR non-stop with a full load? What would be the maximum load that BA could carry? GCM runway is 2135m.

Appreciate any feedback.

best regards

Pran

Quick look in the ACAP a 787-8 should be able to go full house with little to no cargo, depending on engine rating.

If I am reading the charts correctly, the 788 can take off with a weight of around 211t and the 789 with around 221t from a 7000ft runway

On page 3-8 and 3-13 if I have the correct charts, here.

As a comparison, the A359 is able to take off with around 240t from a 2000m runway.
