Fedex 777 EFVS

I noticed from reading articles uploaded a while ago that Fedex planned and (presumably) did install EFVS systems on their 777 fleet. However, I've noticed that certain Fedex 777's do not feature this system, nor have I found one with a heads up display. Would anyone have an explanation behind this discrepancy?

Pretty much the entire Fedex fleet has it, starting with the MD10. It's the little bump on the radome.

Noticed some 777's don't have that bump, let alone a heads up display. So far I've only found 3-ish with both radome bumps and heads up displays.

If they have the cameras on the radome, than they must have the HUDs as well. They go together.

The EFVS technology on FedEx aircraft is the first such application by an air carrier and
consists of an infrared sensor which provides real-time video imagery for display on the
HUD to the pilot.

EFVS is fleet wide with the exception of the A300. Occasionally you may see aircraft added to the fleet, Ship 840 for instance, that have no yet received their EFVS upgrade but it usually doesn’t take long.

Ship 840 (N840FD) has been purchased at Jan 12th 2021 from Etihad (A6-DDA) and has been flown at Jan 19th to Victorville for maintenance and fleet conformity modifications.
It's still at VCV as of today (March 01)

Just spoke to a 777 f/o and he said all the 777s have it.

All planes in the FedEx trunk fleet have a hud/efvs except for the A300’s. Any not having it would be a rare exception and probably a new acquisition.
