Aircraft Maintenance License
hi my name is afiq ..i would like to ask some question..do you think as aircraft maintenance technician (AMT),its worth it to take the Category A license?yea i know its so pricey..you think should i take the category A license for AMT or not?..anyways iam from malaysia so our authority is CAAM..also can i know what about the benefit between license technician and ordinary tehnician..iam in dilemmas

As an ordinary technician you're basically a paid intern doing work while being supervised.
I'd take the Cat B right away, as it doesn't differ too much in cost and allows you to grow further.

It all depends what country you are in. I don’t know what category “A” or “B” is.

IIRC it's the same as in EASA, A is line, B is ground engineer/certifying staff, C is base maint supervisor.
