It's always sad to see a once-proud jet liner make its last stop in the deserts of the USA or some other final destination around the world. After all hope of flying again is gone and parts have been pulled, what's left? Is the shell of such an aircraft really a just a shell? At that point, is the metal of the wings, skin, internal structure unique in any way for aerospace uses or is as likely to show up in a Toyota fender as a Eurofighter? Is there any hope of it "flying" again?
