It will be interesting to see if the US Congress will do anything or whether this will be a PR event for the FAA and Congress. Head of FAA is the only witness to appear before congress according to information.

The hearing just finished up in Washington. Not much new was mentioned. The same issues appear to be still present with the FAA and the 737 MAX. Many politicians talked about other issues with the FAA besides the 737 MAX with the FAA administrator. I assume it will show up later on video on the above linked site if someone is interested.
