Airbus model designator font

Tue May 03, 2022 8:43 am

Hi all,

Does anyone know the font that Airbus uses for their model numbers? I know that Helvetica Neue is used for some parts of branding (and it looks rather good IMO), but I'm not sure what the font is used for the model designator. Would like to be able to use an high quality version of it.

Similarly, I am curious as to what font is used for 'neo', though I guess that the way that the lettering is joined together might mean that it's something custom and non-public?

Would be grateful for any help on this - either in this thread or via PM.

Thanks

You can isolate the text, and use https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ - but maybe that Airbus font was really, really, really, really custom-designed, and not intended for any widespread use.

With the blue-ish "AIRBUS" you get two fonts, Avalors Regular (especially the R and the B), and Artegra Sans Extended SC ExtraBold (especially the S).
