763 Tailskid

I know the 763 has a tailskid. What is it constructed of and how is it built? Thanks.

It consists of a piston/cylinder arrangement cantilevered off two fuselage frames. It also has a teflon rub strip on it's tip. Don't know what else I could tell you about it without engineering drawings.
