Where Do Pilots Rest On UA's 777s?

anybody know where the pilots rest on UA's 777s on long flights? I know they have 1 domestice version, and 3 international versions of the 777-200. thanks!!

I have always seen them resting in seat 3A in first class. they actually had a tarp over the seat. Kinda strage looking!

is that for all their 777s including the ER's? when you say a tarp, you mean a curtain surrounding the seat?

United Airlines does have three versions of the B772 for international terminal and one version for domestic. The Worldwide versions 1 and 2 use seat 3A for a pilot rest area. Version 3 is used for longer flights and so they are equipped with a crew rest area beneath the passenger deck (apparently there is an escape hatch in row 27).

Mac, yeah it was a dark gray curtain that covered the entire seat. When I saw this was when I was waiting for the bathroom right behind the first class cabin on EZE-MIA. I guess that is not the longest route the 777 is used for.

on the ord-nrt/pek runs ua has a crew bunk to the left as you are facing the cockpit door. ua pulled out 1 lav and moved it to in front of the bulkhead in f class,basically in front of 1c/d. also per the new contract seats 8a/b are to be used for crew rest as well if the pilot does not want to get in the bunk. the f/a bunk is in a specially built container the is in the fwd positions of the rear pit...
