What Is It?

Sat Mar 05, 2005 3:43 pm

Soon after arrival and usually after grooming, the groomers put what looks like a microphone on a long cord in the aircraft's cabin, usually left hanging on a seat. I'm thinking it's a ionizer or similar, but not positive.

Can anyone help?

It's a temperature probe that senses cabin temperaure and controls the temperature of the ground air being fed into the cabin.

I believe he's refering to the persons who would come and clean the aircraft i.e. the cleaners.
You are said to be a good pilot when your take-off's equal your landings.

I believe it goes with the ground air conditioning system. Hook up the big yellow tube - put the temp sensor in the cabin.
Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.
