About a week ago I downloaded a video off of a thread in CivilAv that had some single engine plane flying extremely low in snow covered terrain. A link to the video is here. This plane had a T-tail and a high wing. It also had a bar running down the middle of the wind shield. I have tried and tried to figure out what this plane is, but I just can't figure it out. Anybody know?

Looks like a shoulder wing to me. Specifically, it looks like a Saab Safari.

I noticed that a/c has a fairly smallish door behind the seating for the pilots, with a window in the door and on top. Is this a rather cramped cabin for passengers? Doesn't seem like it would be the luggage compartment because there appears to be another door for that further back in the plane.
I bet it would be fun to ride in that cabin, (if that is what it indeed is) albiet rather difficult to get into and out of!

Yea i agree leanofpeak, i think its a safari. I read a sotyr about them being used in the Congo back in the 60's. Called the Mosquito or something like that. Used by some insurgency group.

The SAAB was used during the Nigerian civil war on the Biaffran side by some "mercenaries".
They manage to hang a rocket pod or a gun gondola under each wing, thus equipped it did some damage to the nigerian side.
The history of these courageous men who fought in that war is still to be told.
