B762ER Fuel Usage?

Thu Nov 24, 2005 4:05 am

Hey,

This is an odd question but here it is:

What is the fuel used by ONE engine of a B762ER; in pounds?

Thanks
Mike

Hey,
in pounds?

I dont know what the value is, however Fuel Flow is measured in unit weight per hour.

I'd expect it to be around the 2000lbs/hr range.

Depends on the type of engine fitted, the thrust setting required and the environmental conditions.

At 35,000 feet at ISA +10 in a 130,000kg 767-200ER each JT9D would burn approximately 4824lbs/hr at 461ktas cruise.

I am showing from 4500 lb/hr to 5100 lb/hr (per engine) on our fleet depending on factors mentioned above - routing (and associated weight) in particular.
