Quoting DAirbus (Reply 334):
At least I can say that I found it the same way Columbus discovered the New World, while looking for something completely different. Anyway, congrats to AeroWeanie. Judging by his great score, he seems to have more time and/or resources than I do |
Thanks! Actually, I missed the PA-33 because of a lack of time - I recognized the location as Lock Haven due to the mountain range in the background (my wife is from that area), so I knew the airplane was in my big book of Piper aircraft. However, I was on a trip to the east coast at the time and the book was on the west coast. Similarly, due to a lack of time, I rushed on the
CM-175 - I actually looked at a picture of a
CM-175, but I thought I saw no gap in the flaps, so I ruled it out and guessed
CM-170.
The OMAC I was pretty easy for me, as I worked on two competing designs, the Starship and the JetCruzer. How I got the XL-15 is related to how I got the current mystery airplane, so I can't give details until after Thursday evening.
