Air Nav-KlAX Question.........

Per the Air Nav KLAX .pdf map........Can anyone explain the 3 linked "egg shaped" routes(?) just East of Foxtrot on 25 R ? I have wondered this for a while.

Just for the sake of nitpickiness:

You can't touch down in that area. It can, however, be used for a landing rollout when landing from the opposite direction.
