Foto Of Stripped Down JT9D 7R4D Engine?

Sat Sep 26, 2009 9:45 am

HI

Anyone here got a good foto of a stripped down Pratt And Whitney JT9D-7R4D boeing 767-200 engine?

That is a foto of the engine without any of the external accessories attached.

Thanks In advance

You may have significantly better luck asking this question in the Tech/ops forum. Lots of folks there who know exactly where to find this sort of thing.

Thanks for the plug!  bigthumbsup

I was wondering why my stats on Flickr went through the roof and then I saw that they linked back to Anet. Regardless, I hope the photo was of some use. Out of curiosity, what do you need one of the JT9D-7R4D for?

Thx JeffSFO

That foto of the 7R4D guts that you took......where did you take it?

Was it at an exhibition or at an airport where they were doing maintenance?

Thanks in advance.

Those are taken at Mojave, and those airplanes are in storage. As you can see by some of the tape and covers coming off, FTA is having a hard time with the winds out in the desert.
