Conquest II Rvsm

If you have experience in the 441, tell me about your experience operating above 280. We are trying to evaluate the cost of RVSM.

My business partner operates a 441 (and has done so for many years) and states that if RVSM approval is not obtained, plan on spending an extra 12% on fuel....depending of course, on the amout of flying you do, per year.
He will fly (for example) VNY-IAD non-stop, at FL320.
Not possible without RVSM approval.

Shorter flights mostly? 300-400nm?
Pass on RVSM.
