Are we looking at the windows (in that case, you've got me there, as I can't make out which blinds are down heh), or at the window plugs (the beige-colored ones)? Because for the latter, they are metal plugs that replace windows in areas where they are not needed (restrooms, galley, etc.), so they are painted as part of the fuselage.

Agreed. I can see 4 blanked window apertures and no blinds down on the 330.

Those are window plugs, probably covering a galley/WC on the a/c.

(I tried asking this in a new thread because I consider it off topic but the moderators disagree and deleted the post so I will try again here)

With something like this who has final say as to how long the rudder will stay on the plane, the accountants or the marketing team. This assumes the company is not paying rental on the rudder but will incure costs to replace it. I can see arguements for both sides; cost of replacement of a perfectly serviceable part versus revenue lost by a bad advertising. I mean you see some fairly tatty looking airliners from big companies flying about but with a whole different company's rudder on your plane?

unless you're leasing from Boeing while they are repairing yours... anyway when the leased unit comes back, it is stripped and zero timed for the next lease. Leaseable spares were available at several stations around the globe... (this applied to all flaps, ailerons, spoilers, rudders... I use the past tense because they may have changed the policy)
