Delta 767 Overhead - Green Switch?

Fri Feb 25, 2011 4:26 am

Hi...just a curious thing I noticed above the battery and emergency power switches is this green switch with what almost look like some kind of talk-backs...? Not something I've seen on other birds.

Any idea what it is?

Thanks!

Very cool, thanks. That had crossed my mind, but there just aren't any pictures available to clarify. Surely something that stands out so much on the quite uniform 757/767 panel will arise curiosity sooner or later

Post was deleted but it was replied that its the cockpit door switch. I think we'll be OK knowing that with all of the detailed cockpit shots available right here on this site of various types, videos on the web and purchasable on DVD, etc.

SSI? No. It's not like a person with nefarious intent can use that switch to gain unauthorized access to the flight deck, nor can the knowledge that it exists be used to gain access to the flight deck. Obviously, you have to be on the flight deck to actually use said switch.

Now, if wiring diagrams and company specific procedures were being posted, that would be SSI.
I lift things up and put them down.
