Boeing highest MTOW option available on the -300ER is 775k.
Do AA's have 775k? Some of the sources I came across on the web indicate 766k.
I wouldnt be surprised if they purchased 766k as it is more than enough for their route network. Only DFW-HKG-HKG would necessitate 775K on a regular basis to maximize payload.
Can anyone in the know confirm the MTOW?

Well how much oeweight, cost, or complexity does the higher MTOW come with? If it's not significant and doesn't impact the bottom line, it's better to get the more capable aircraft and have the flexibility to fly heavier, longer routes in the future... MIA-HKG anyone?

Higher MTOWs increase the purchase price of the airframe and increase airport and navigation fees.
