Interesting commercial, though.
A government big enough to take away a constitutionally guaranteed right is a government big enough to take away any guaranteed right. A government big enough to give you everything you need is a government big enough to take away everything you have.

That Beech 18 cockpit looks stunning. The Airbus flightdeck is a beautfiul piece of design too, but for the skill and technique required to bring it alive, the Beech wins for me.
The glass isn't half empty, or half full, it's twice as big as it needs to be.

I flew the Beech 18 for a little while. The one I flew SURE didn't look that nice....

Starting a turbine is a straight forward operation for the most part. Spin the engine, introduce fuel, monitor for a hot start.

Waking up a radial is a little different. Prime, hit the starter - count 9 blades, mags on, prime a little more if it doesn't catch. When one or two finally does catch, manipulate the throttle to keep it running. All 9 will be firing sometime between now and next Tuesday.

I'm glad I got the chance to fly the Beech, but you guys can have the radial stuff. Too much like work.

You forgot pulling the prop through at least nine times to prevent oil lock before you do anything.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

I have quite a bit of time working on a time-worn Beech 18 during its restoration (it won best in show at Oshkosh a couple of years ago). It had been in extended service as a freight-caller to maquiladora plants in Mexico, and was pretty beat down.

Now, it is a stunning showpiece, a testament to the dedication and commitment of its owner, who for many years as a younger man flew freight across the Midwest in similar planes. It will be bad form to say that the one I worked on is nicer than the one in the video-but it can hold its own real well!

I know a little bit about a lot of things, but I know a lot about the fuel-level indicating system on the Beech 18!
