Is it possible to use the PMDG MD-11 for FS2004 with FSX Steam?

Sat Apr 18, 2020 12:45 pm

I bought the PMDG MD-11 at Amazon a few days ago. Is it possible to use the FS2004 PMDG MD-11 with FSX? Are there any tweaks required?

I loved the PMDG MD-11! I'll be watching this thread, I'd like to get it running in FSX:SE too.

There is an MD-11 for FSX by Sky Simulations. Looks good, but its pricey and I've read a few reviews that leads me to believe it's nor as good as promised.

I forgot to say I had also bought FS2004 a few days ago, since I don’t have my very old copy anymore, so it’s no problem. But I was curious if it is possible.

You can put any airline's livery on it, right?

I have the FSX Version running perfectly in FSX SE. Why did you buy the FS 2004 version knowing that you’d run it in FSX SE?

This thread is NOT about me not wanting to use it in FSX SE, and not wanting to use it in FS2004. The FS2004 version was the only one available. I will run it in FS2004. I only was curious if it was possible to get it running in FSX SE, even though I will use it in FS2004.

Then what do you think is the reason there are two separate versions?
