Hi guys,
I've a quick question. Back eons ago in England I used to have a little analog airline scanner radio, I used to lie in bed as a little lad listening to planes which I used to think were flying over head and loved hearing "speedbird" "monarch" "Britannia" "Midland" call signs ... Something peaceful about it I guess.
Anyway, call it nostalgia or whatever but I would like to buy a new radio that I can use with my young son and listen to air traffic.
I know I can just use LiveATC etc but I would like to find something we can play around with that can pick up Shanwick and the Atlantic traffic etc..
I live in Michigan, USA now so thats a factor perhaps with range etc
If anyone has advice as to something similar but effective I can purchase and any guidance as to what to look for etc I would really appreciate it. I honestly have no idea were to start. Lol
Anyway, thanks for any advice!!
