Suggest A Good Joystick

Sun Jun 20, 2004 10:28 pm

Hello everyone!

I was wondering, what model joystick everyone uses for their FS and if you're satisfied with it. I want to upgrade so any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

I use a Logitech Attack 3. I have no complaints with it. It works very well with Flight SImulator 2004.

Thrustmaster Cougar. The best. Expensive but worth it.

Also it can modified in numerous and some very expensive way.

The saitek X45 is almost as capable but far less money.

It too can be programmed.

Or you might wait for the new Saitek X52 due out in Sep/Oct 2004

I have a Logitec something, but I hate it. It always goes to the right on rudder and ailerons. My MS Force Feedback Pro 2 was better, but unfortunatly I snapped the handle off that. It tells ya don't make sharp right turns.

They're also taking pre-orders for it but I'm not sure how much it would be with shipping and the exchange rate.

The best price I could find for the cougar is $284.85 at Amazon.com.

I use a Stitek X45 which comes with a realistic Throttle. Has lots of buttons so you can make them what ever you want them to do. But when I am not Flying Airbuses Helicopters or Fighters I use my CH Products Flight Sim Yoke Which Is Great espsecilly since I have a Throttle and Yoke. I even got the Rudder Pedals too.

Hey EclipseFlight7, could you get the model of that joystick? I had the same problem on my old Logitech. It's a Wingman Force 3D. I had a friend of mine who fixes computers and accessories take a look at it, and he said that there was a defect in the manufacturing of it.
