My longest is LAX-DEL in a 77L which I flew last week; it was about 16 hours. Whenever I get around to it I'll be flying CGK-MCI, which should be just shy of 18 hours and is a couple hundred miles longer than EWR-SIN.

My longest real time flight was from Pyong Yang to Auckland on a fictional AR 787, something around 11 hours.
Another long one in real time was from EINN to VABB on a 772. Just over 9 hours, including a go around (that really pissed me off by the way  Wink )

My two longest were JFK to SIN with a lightly loaded 747-400 and cruising at mach .82 insteas of my usual .85 which saved some fueland gave more range. Also, I did attempt NRT to GRU non-stop but had to make a fuel stop in Georgetown Guyana which was still a very long flight. I forgot how long each flight took but I think they were at least 18hrs.

That's a SLOW flight, man! That's an average ground speed of 360 knots! You must have had quite a headwind!

I recently broke my record.

I flew EBBR-WSSS (BRU-SIN) in a BA772. My landing into SIN was embarassing. I came in too high, had to nose-dive down at like -3000 fpm, flared at the last second, but flared too much, halted my descent completely, so I had to put the nose gear down first, and then the MLG. And when the MLG came down, my nose wheel was turned so the plane skidded, almost off the runway, and blew its tires. I have a video of it. Quite atrocious.

I think my two longest flights were:
ATL-LHR in a Delta 777
CLT-SNN in a US Airways A330-200

Both flights were flown in real-time, and both in the 7 hour range.

Longest flights:
SEA-SYD Flight time: 14:46
SEA-HKG Flight time: 10:09
SEA-FRA Flight time: 10:10
SEA-MUC Flight time: 10:40
SEA-PPT Flight time: 12:20

All of these flights were completed in the 747-400, naturally, during 1X time, flying as Pacific Airways flights. Flight times were recorded as start-up to shutdown at departure and arrival gates.

I have since "retired" from these long flights, and I am now flying the 737-700/900.

I am lame compared to you guys but than again I also do not generally have the time for simming anymore like I used to. I did GLA-PHL in a 757 and than continued to LGA in a DHC8 and than up to MHT in a BE1900. I cheated and used the "autopilot" to fly and went to a bar. My game plan if I came home with someone  Wink which I did not that night was to quick unplug the computer a few paces ahead of my "guest" lol.

I can't concentrate on flights over 1.5 hours. Do you guys go to sleep as your flight is on auto-pilot?

time to explain the "how to ignore ATC" trick:

1> wait until you are at cruising alt
2> wait for center handoff
3> confirm handoff
4> swtich freqs
5> DO NOT CONTACT NEW CENTER

now just let the autopilot take you there...

when you are say 150nm from destination, contact the currently available center, and if it start telling you to turn around 180*... just keep confirming until it calms down and tells you "resume own navigation". Once in a long while it will get stuck and keep telling you to fly to a point 3000nm behind you. Just cancle IFR in that situation.

Enjoy...
