1/84th Scale 747B200's Ready For Roll-out!

Sun Sep 11, 2005 9:40 am

Hey Y'all;

I'm building 1/84th scale models (fiberglass) of 747B200's (AIR FORCE ONE paint scheme capable) the models will come to you unpainted unless you order it with your requested paint shceme. I don't know how to paint, does anyone out there want the job? The models are 33 inches long, 28 inch wingspan and are by no means SMALL!!! There's room for tons of detail on these 'babies'. About 4 or 5 months out I am considering doing '400 birds' IF there's enough of a response for them as well as the SP aircraft versions. I'm not even sure how much to charge for them yet, so are there any suggestions out there, looking at including stand as well as 'tires' (you make your own struts, maybe even retractable). The major question that I have right now is how do I put up pictures of the model on this site where you guys can see them, I really need help with that. I hopeing that these models will be ready within the next week or two, e-mail me if you want pictures before I can get them up on this site, send me your questions as well, be waiting to hear from y'all!!!!  Big grin  Big grin  Big grin

The easiest way to price something (Personally) is the following:

Round up the cost of all of the parts to the nearest $1, then add $10 for every month it takes you to design, build etc. Just to generally complete the model.

Then, add $5 extra every month for electricity bills etc.

So you will end up with a tidy profit.

Thanks
Mike
